The Inter-Ridge Recreation District is a partnership formed between the communities of MacGregor, North Norfolk, Gladstone and Westbourne. This Partnership allows for a full-time Recreation Director responsible for ensuring recreational opportunities exist for everyone. Summer event programming, special events, aerobic classes, evening sporting events, and children programming. Arts development and programming and continuing education opportunities are all part of the duties of the Recreation Director.

The District office provides consultative services to other recreational organizations in the district. It also acts as a liaison between local groups and the Provincial and Federal governments with regards to programs and grant administration.
